This comes as a bit of a surpise, since the desktop GT 240 (a rebranded 9800GT) is far better than the desktop HD 4670. Alas, it seems not everything scales :P|||From a technical aspect, the Radeon is better, but for whatever reason ATI cards are poorly supported for gaming. these are mid range cards which are both capable of running most of todays games however at lower resolutions and detail
the 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 240M is a mobile version of the new geforce gt240 and performance wise its pretty good with a 1210mhz processor clock and a 128bit memory interface and with support for 48 cuda cores and 174 gigaflops speed this is a capable mobile gpu
on the other hand the ATI Mobility RADEON™ HD 4670 has a 600mhz core clock and a 128bit memory interface and with 320 shader processors this is also worth considering
however since the GT240M uses newer technology i would recommend this over the ATI Mobility RADEON™ HD 4670
