Would you buy a higher end 256mb video card or a 512mb video card that costs less?

The two video cards are found here:

Whats the difference?|||7600GT is better, it has a faster core clock and faster memory clock. Also has more pixel pipelines. Also, the 7300 uses GDDR2 which is not nearly as good as GDDR3, GDDR2 had problems without overheating and is just not as fast. Memory bandwidth is also a really good way to compare cards, the 7300 is at 8.51 GB/s, and while not quoted on that page the 7600 is 22.4 GB/s. So you can easily see the 7600GT is better.|||No, thanx|||256 mb is fine with

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Dual Core Processor Memory - 2048 MB DDR-SDRAM400 RAM|||get the 512 higher end....the difference in cost will turn out to be much les than the hassle of the cheaper one breaking down earlier. Will save you the trip and the hassles.|||higher end video card

that other one sounds like a great deal, but that doesn't guarantee that it would last as long as the high end one

besides, 256 is more than enough|||buy the 256mb one it is a 7600gt and its new the/ 512mb is a 7300 and thats old
