The Visiontek Radeon X1550 Video Card 512mb AGP Card good for todays gaming?

There aren't any reviews on this card yet, it has pixel shader 3.0, it's got 512mb memory, it has HD capability (not that that matters)

Here's more info on it

Is this card good enough to play games like Crysis, Gears Of War, Call Of Duty World At War etc? 'can you run it' has recommended this card and has everything needed to play these games so why not?

Whats your guys opinion on this card?|||Hi,

No, it's not a good card for today's games as it is an AGP card not the higher speed PCI-E.

The problem is that if your motherboard only supports AGP then that is what you are stuck with.8-((

It's time to think about upgrading your pc...

Arnal|||As far as AGP goes, then yes it is good, without having to replace your whole computer. If you have the processor and RAM for the game, then this video card should work just fine. Yes, PCI-E is the newest and fastest way, however you can still be viable with AGP if your parts are up to snuff. This is really about as good as a card gets for AGP, so if you are to stick with AGP, then this is top-knotch. Eventually some of the newer games are going to best what you can do with AGP, but for now if you have higher-end AGP then you should be good to go.
