Question about Alienware Laptops and Video Cards for it?

I'm planning on getting an Alienware laptop soon and I have a few things to ask. First, I'm wondering where a good place to buy one that is new for a little bit cheaper than on the official website. Second, with the video cards on the m17x and the m17, I noticed that the m17x has the Dual 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GT video card and the m17 has the Dual 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870. I know that the GeForce is better, but I want to know how much of a difference there is between the two of them. If you can answer at least one of my questions that will be fine. Thanks|||The difference is pretty minimal if you check out this chart the Dual 9800 GT's are 2nd and the dual 3870s are 4th.

I think you're better off with the M17 because it uses 1066Mhz DDR3 over the 667Mhz DDR2 in the m17x. Also Alienware is the only place to buy new Alienware laptops E-bay for 2nd hand ones.|||as far as i know, Alienware PCs are sold exclusively through their website. you may be able to pick one up on the second-hand market via eBay.|||The X will play better ... way better trust me and I would try Cnet as the laptop buying place.
