ive been laptop shopping, for gaming mostly and i couldn't help but notice a peculiar NVIDIA model number
nVidia GeForce GT 130M 512MB (dedicated)
now im familiar with the 7 to 9 series of video cards, but whats this 130M thing? Is it better compared to say, 9600 512 gt? thanks!|||nVidia did some re-branding on their lineup, which gets confusing, but the 130M GT is basically a re-branded 9600M GT, with faster clocks and 55 nm fabrication (vs. 65 nm on the 9600GT). They are basically the same thing, but the 130M is newer, so I would get that over a 9600M if you were given the option.|||try Everest Ultimate software to find type your nvidia
