Dell laptop question: which one is better video card b/t 128 MB geforce 8400M GS and 512MB ATI radeon HD 4570?

which number is more important? number of MB, or the other numbers(like 8400M GS or HD 4500)? can anyone demystify what those numbers are for? pls help. which one is better for movie and game and why?|||MB is the dedicated memory which the vga card provides, of course 512 is better than 128. then numbers like 8400 they are just model numbers. and i guess here 512 MB ATI one is much better than the other one.|||the ati radeon hd 4570 is that is the product number it is part of the moble 4000 series. the other is a nvidia part of the mobile 8000 series. the ati one is better. the 512 and 128 is telling you how much ram it has for the graphics card to use for graphics. look below at the like and you can compare the specs you want a fast core and memory speed. at the very bottom is a overall rating (benchmark score) that is used to compare them. look at the one in bold that is the card you are looking at the ati is better.

nvidia

For example, My card is an Geforce 8600M GT in my dell but the 4570 is still better than this (even though the 8600M GT is very good at games) also Nvidia have a few separate models within a series of cards. eg. they have the 8600M GS and the 8600M GT. the GT is much better version. Whatever you look at, just look at how much memory it has. Its a very tricky thing to explain. Something with under 256MB dedicated memory will not be very good at games, but almost all cards will play movies fine.
