Video Cards 512Mb need suggestion.?

Im planning to buy 512 MB for my new cpu Compaq i wonder what video card is good ?

PNY Verto GeForce 7600 GS 512MB DDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card

or

ATI RADEON X1650 Pro 512MB DDR PCI Express Graphics Card

my budget is 100-200 Usd

your opinion lots of help, thanks.|||Memory is not important. Manufacturers put a lot of memory (512 MB) on the worst cards so they can rip people off who don't know a lot about video cards. Get an ATI Radeon x1950xt, BY FAR the best performer for just under $200. It outperforms all 512mb cards except for x1950xt 512mb (same card but with more memory, a waste), x1950xtx (a rip off considering it doesn't offer much more performance) and the HD 2900xt (way too much for you, 430).|||i'd personally pick geForce 7600.

For better analysis on the 2:

But the ATI card is good too, but cost more than the Nvidia card.

It also depends on what kind of games you play, and how much you play. If you want to play the latest games then I suggest you go with the 7900 series, which you can afford, but 7950 is better, but over 200 USD.|||In PC gaming, high clock rate(core and videoram) is the name of the game. Do not settle for anything less than ddr3; you might regret it later. 256mb ddr3 will beat 512mb ddr2 ALL THE TIME. 512Mb videoram is NOT always fully utilized in games.
