Is the motherboard Asus P5K-VM compatible with video cards?

I have this motherboard:

Also I believe my power supply is a 380W. Can that motherboard support good graphics cards like ones for gaming? My friend said that some motherboards don't have the ability to support other video cards due to integrated graphics or something like that. I want to get a 512MB + graphics card.

Thanks in advance to all responses!|||Your motherboard is capable of running any modern graphics card be it AMD or Nvidia as it has a Pcie x16 slot.

Having Integrated graphics has no bearing on GPU compatabilty as any Integrated graphics is automatically disabled upon a device being present in the Pcie slot.

If you want to run a decent graphics card you will have to upgrade your PSU 380watts is not enough power for a good graphics card and other computer hardware.

Recommend 500watt brand name 80+ certified PSU as a minimum
